Few women faced with an unplanned pregnancy are told of the marvelous development of the life growing within them, even at the early stages.  The feet pictured below are at only 11 weeks along!

Don't make a quick decision.  This is an important time in your life.  You deserve the care and support of our trained peer counselors to help you  explore your options.  We can help you find resources to create positive solutions in a gentle, caring setting.

Single Parenting
Consider these questions:
Can I be a good mother?
Will I be able to finish school?
Where will I live?
What does a child cost?
Will I be able to get a job?
Who will help?

Single parenting is not an easy choice to make.  Many young women find answers to these questions and more.  Be encouraged to know that many clients in the same situation have found the help and resources to make positive choices and realize their dreams.

Marriage
Marriage should be a lifetime decision
This is sometimes an option to consider with an unplanned pregnancy.  Getting married because you're pregnant is a poor reason to make this lifetime commitment.  We can help you and the baby's father understand this option more fully.

Adoption
Making an adoption plan can be a good decision.
Choosing adoption is a loving and unselfish choice for your baby.  There are many reasons to consider this option.  Each year 50,000 women in America make this choice.  The adoption process has changed dramatically over the years.

Did you know?

Making an adoption plan allows you to continue to make decisions throughout your pregnancy.
Open adoptions allow ongoing visits with your child.
Many agencies allow you to choose the adoptive parents.
We can provide you with referrals to adoption agencies who are committed to you and your child.

Fathers

We have male peer counselors as well as DVDs and information specifically for you.  We encourage you to participate, either as a couple, or by yourself.  Our center is there to help you in this process as well in whatever capacity makes you and the mother comfortable.  A pregnancy changes many lives and we are there to help everyone involved.
